Unlock Jamaican flavor with this vibrant Traditional Green Seasoning! A fiery blend of fresh herbs, scotch bonnet peppers, garlic, ginger, and pimento seeds—perfect for marinades, grilling, or spicing up vegan dishes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 bunch organic cilantro
  • 1 bunch  organic parsley
  • 4 celery celery stalks, organic
  • 8 scallions  (aka Green onions)
  • 20  garlic cloves  (You can use as little as 6 cloves, if desired)
  • 16 whole  pimento seeds
  • 2 onion   (You can use red or yellow onion)
  • handful of fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2 scotch   bonnet pepper
  • 1  red bell pepper
  • inch  ginger root, peeled
  • 2-4 freshly squeezed limes
  •  cup  filtered water

Instructions
 

PREP THE VEGGIES:

  • For an easier blend, you can roughly chop all veggies (especially the larger ones) if desired.

TO MAKE THE SEASONING:

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. NOTE: Add a bit more water if needed for a smoother consistency.
  • Add the green seasoning to your favorite mason jar or tightly sealed container and refrigerate for about a week for optimal freshness. 
  • To use in recipes, you'll need about 2-3 Tbsps of green seasoning which works perfectly on meats, seafood, soups, etc.
